2007 Washington State Junior Badminton Championship

85 entries! This is AWESOME! I wasn’t around Washington State badminton till recent years, but I was told by veterans that this is the ever biggest junior tournament in the Seattle area. Please give a big round applause to all the coaches who brought these kids to the tournament - Brooke Lowry, Kenny Lu, Wendy Carter and Eric Lee. THANK YOU!

Yonex is our biggest sponsor this time. They sent us inexpensive shuttlecocks, lots of free overgrips, key chains, towel grips and big racket bags as door prizes. Each player ended up getting at least one item as souvenir. They also donated a Nanospeed 9000 racket and a new model Nanospeed 7700 racket as raffle prize. I am not sure who got the Nanospeed 9000, but I know Duncan Lau got the Nanospeed 7700. Yonex also sent us a Tony Gunawan and Halim Haryanto (legend badminton double partners) autographed racket cover. Since nobody was interested in it, we are saving it for next time.
