2007 Washington Open Result

Another year, another big turnout, there are about 180 players participated the 70^th edition of Washington State Open Badminton Tournament. Karl brought 54 players from BC and Phu of Bintang Academy from Bay Area also brought 7 players, there’re also players from Haiwaii, Alaska and Oregon.

Ying-Fang and Greg won their 1^st WA Open mixed doubles against Wendy and Kenny in 3 games.

Ira and Stella of Bintang Badminton Academy from Bay Area beat last year’s winner and runner-up to meet in the final and Ira came out on top

The currently US No. 1 ranked singles Piotr won the men’s singles 3 years in a row and Thomas of Bintang is the runnerup.

New comers Malisa and Rosalynn from BC came from behind on the 3^rd game to win the Women’s Doubles against the veteran Annie and Wendy.

Piotr and Bhaskar of Alaska took the Men’s Doubles crown after being the runner ups last year and beat Phu and Thomas of Bintang.
