As you may be aware, the USOC has put a priority on working with National Governing Bodies to evaluate and improve organizational capabilities including in the areas of governance, management and operational efficiency. The simple philosophy is that stronger organizations will create and administer better programs that will help athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence on the field of play. USAB is currently one of the organizations that we are working with and I'd like to take this opportunity to invite your input on areas that you believe USAB should look to reform. The majority of our current focus is on the governance of USAB but I welcome your comments in all areas. Specific comments or the identity of those submitting comments will not be shared directly with anyone at USAB. However, we will evaluate the information we receive and share summaries as appropriate. Comments can be sent to my attention by October 25, 2007 via email, facsimile or mail.
