December 2008Olympians Demo & Clinic at Bellevue Badminton Xu Huaiwen, 2-Time Olympian & currently #7 in the world, along with Shuttlesport's top players from Vancouver, will be doing a demo for all members and participants at BBC from 6pm-7pm. This is a fun, free event and we encourage all of you to come and enjoy the experience of watching top badminton players compete against each other. • After the Demo, Xu Huaiwen along with our head coach, Raju Rai, 2008 USA Olympian and 6-time US National Champion, will be hosting a clinic on Friday, January 9, from 7pm-9pm. They are two very experienced professionals who can offer help to players of all levels seeking to improve their badminton game. The cost for the demo is $20 for Members and $40 for guests. This class involves a lot of running, exercises and games to keep you fit, active and improve your game. Learn from an experienced instructor the skills you will need to enhance your on-court performance. Ages 13 and older. Starting Thursday, January 8. Cost $40. Match play will be on February 13-15 at the Bellevue Badminton Club. Entries must be received by Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009.
